Voting begins for 2021 People's Choice Award
VERNON – Greater Vernon residents will play a significant role in determining the recipient of the 2021 People’s Choice award sponsored by Total Restoration Services.
From Sept. 13 to Oct. 4, members of the public can vote for their favourite among the businesses and non-profits nominated in 15 categories for the Greater Vernon Chamber’s Business Excellence Awards.
“The People’s Choice Award is an ideal opportunity for residents to be directly involved in recognizing a business or non-profit,” said Dan Proulx, Greater Vernon Chamber general manager.
“All of the nominees are encouraged to have their customers, employees, family and friends vote as a way of increasing support for the coveted title of People’s Choice.”

Each participant will be able to vote for free as many times as they want, with bulk voting available for purchase to save time and help raise funds to establish a scholarship for a local business student. Partial proceeds will also support programs and initiatives from the Chamber to support local business. Last year, $1,600 was raised to help a local business student attend school.
The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the Business Excellence Awards celebration Oct. 29. Registration details for the event will be posted soon to vernonchamber.ca.
The 27th Annual Business Excellence Awards are presented by MNP.
