Spring Expo showcases North Okanagan businesses
JANUARY, 14, 2019 – Thousands of people are anticipated to flock to Spring Expo and that ensures heightened awareness for North Okanagan products and services.
The inaugural business and community showcase is March 8 and 9 at Kal Tire Place North and the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting registrations for vendors.
“The region’s business community is vast and diverse, but one of the challenges for any business is making sure potential customers not only know of them, but appreciate what products and services they offer, and why supporting local benefits all of us,” said Dione Chambers, general manager of the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce.
“The goal of Spring Expo is to bring local businesses under one roof so they have face to face connections with existing and new customers. From there, long-term relationships can be established and that is an essential catalyst for the businesses and the local economy.”
Beyond the vendors, Spring Expo will also feature family-friendly activities, including entertainment, face painting and a bouncy castle.
“We want Spring Expo to be a celebration of Greater Vernon and the North Okanagan. Spring is such a wonderful time and what better way to kick off the season than by bringing the community together,” said Chambers.
Registration for vendor space is currently underway by calling 250-545-0771 or emailing info@vernonchamber.ca
“We would encourage all businesses to participate in Spring Expo as a way of increasing awareness about their products and services and to identify themselves as a community leader,” said Chambers.
