About Us
The Social Planning Council for the North Okanagan is a non-profit society whose mandate is to provide community planning and action-oriented leadership for social issues in the community. We coordinate the Partners for a Safe and Healthy Community Committee which has spearheaded solutions for issues such as homelessness, attainable housing and food security. In addition, we are the host agency for the Seniors Information and Resource Bureau, the Falls Prevention Program and the Volunteer Bureau.
