About Us

The OKIB Group of Companies (OKIBGC) is a newly established business entity owned by the Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB).

The OKIBGC has taken the lead on commercially developing selected areas on three of OKIB's reserve lands. We are currently promoting these development projects for the purpose of finding commercial or industrial tenants interested in leasing buildings or bare acreage lots. We are open to discussions with parties interested in development opportunities on OKIB lands.

OKIBGC is actively developing partnerships and joint ventures for the purpose of perusing procurement contracting opportunities within the Okanagan Territory.

OKIBGC currently operates OKIB Management Services LP, OKIB Forestry LP, OKIB Operations LP, and OKIB Assets LP .

Okanagan Indian Band has six reserves; the majority of these reserves are located within the proximity of Vernon, BC. with one reserve being adjacent to the District of Lake Country. OKIB has approximately 2,030 band members with half living on-reserve.
