About Us

Absolute Cheer & Tumbling is proud to announce the launch of Absolute Okanagan, expanding its 19-year legacy of athlete development from North Vancouver into the Okanagan region. Based in Vernon, British Columbia, the new program is co-founded by Sonja Aquila, Founder and CEO of Absolute Cheer & Tumbling, and Billie Sue Roe, an internationally respected leader in cheerleading education and athlete development.


Built on a foundation of growth mindset and a commitment to building champions for life, Absolute has developed athletes who excel in stunting, tumbling, and performance while also building confidence, leadership, and resilience.

World-Class Leadership Comes to the Okanagan

Absolute Okanagan will be led by Billie Sue Roe, whose international experience and athlete-first philosophy bring exceptional depth to the program’s launch.


Billie currently leads global education initiatives for coaches, judges, and instructors. Her background includes national championship experience at Morehead State University and the University of Kentucky, a professional performance career as stunt captain in Bring It On: The Musical on Broadway and the First National Tour, international coaching and educator experience across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and judging at major international events including the ICU World Cheerleading Championships.


With more than two decades of experience, Billie brings a globally informed and development-focused approach to building the Absolute Okanagan program.
