Medical Equipment Technician / Installer

Southward Medical Supplies is looking for a technician.  We are a retail medical supply store that sells everything from first aid supplies, to walkers, to wheelchairs, to electric scooters.  We install medical equipment such as safety grab bars, floor to ceiling transfer poles, and other essential daily living aids.  Your job would involve repairs and maintenance to medical equipment, along with installations in residential homes, or facilities within our community.  We are needing an individual that has basic construction skills (installing grab bars into drywall and showers), and basic mechanical skills (repairs on medical equipment). An ability to handle constantly changing and emerging priorities, customer service skills and time management skills are preferred. We offer onsite training and offsite training if required.  A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required. 
 
We are a small local family run business that creates a work – life balance.  Our store is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.  We are closed on all long weekends and statutory holidays.
