The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is endeavouring to clarify and communicate when employees required to work from home during COVID-19 can claim work-space-in-the-home expenses. A significant part of CRA’s plan is the introduction of a new version of Form T2200, Declaration of Conditions of Employment, known as the T2200 Short.

CRA will welcome your feedback on the draft T2200 Short and the work-space-in-the-home deduction for the upcoming tax season during a one-hour session with officials on Friday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. ET. You can review the T2200 consolidated response template to prepare your feedback for tomorrow’s consultation.
