Mackie Lake House presents Cascadian folk duo West My Friend in a live, outdoor concert on the shores of Kalamalka Lake. Mingling grassroots guitar, accordion, flute and vocal harmonies, West My Friend has a sound that is both folksy and musically sophisticated. Unpretentious and warm, it’s rare to hear something as put-together as this folk duo - something so layered, deeply symphonic, and baroque.
