Join award-winning author, Naomi K. Lewis, as she reads from her Governor General Award nominated memoir, Tiny Lights for Travellers, in which she traces her grandfather’s escape from Nazi-occupied Netherlands to France. Also featured will be a reading from the letters home of former Vernon mayor, Stuart Fleming, written when he was a pilot and eventual prisoner of war in WW2. If you have any of your own family’s wartime correspondence, please bring to share. Open to the public, all ages, admission is free.
