Be a part of the celebration and support your local museum! The Greater Vernon Museum & Archives (GVMA) will host Celebrate the Valley: Farm to Table Dinner as the wrap up event to the featured traveling exhibition “The Social Life of Water.” All of the menu features are locally sourced, sustainably grown and ethically harvested. The thoughtful cuisine will be prepared by Basket Case Picnics and Catering, boasting a reputation for delectable regional cuisine. A special thanks to local producers who have donated so generously; Rosebank Farms, Bella Stella Cheese, Okanagan Grown Produce Ltd, Armstrong Asparagus Farm, the Vernon Farmers Market, Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery and The BX Press Cidery & Orchard, amongst others. Your $75 ticket includes a one-of-a-kind dining experience, a sumptuous regional meal, and a selection of cocktails, wine and cider provided by local producers, in addition to live music. Limited seating is available. Tickets can be purchased at the museum or by phone, prior to May 3rd. We regret that tickets will not be available after that date or at the door.
