The Vernon Museum is excited to host an Art & Antique Appraisal Day Saturday September 15th from 10:00am to 4:30pm at the museum. Independent Art and Antiques Appraisers Marian and Peter Blundell will view and assess your hidden art, treasures, and the summer garage sale finds. Everything from Grandma’s favourite teapot, vase, statue, sterling silver or an ‘out of this world’ painting can be assessed. However, the Blundells do not assess jewellery, coins, guns (swords are okay), stamps, wrist watches (pocket watches are good). A 15 minute appointment is $50 for a Verbal-Opinion-of-Value Assessment on a maximum of three items. Call the Vernon Museum at 250-542-3142 to book your appointment, and tell them what you would like to bring. Pre-payment is required to reserve your spot. You are asked to send photos to the museum prior to the event to allow the Blundells to do pre-show research. For more information please call the museum, visit www.vernonmuseum.ca or find us on facebook.
