DESCRIPTION:The annual Business Walk in Vernon will be held Oct. 2 and volunteers are needed.\n\nThe program is meant as a five to 10-minute check-in with businesses to gain a better understanding of how things are going and how business agencies can support their needs.\n\nVolunteers will join representatives of the City of Vernon\, Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce\, the Economic Development Advisory Committee\, Community Futures and the Downtown Vernon Association.\n\nThe event begins with a pre-meeting at 9:30 a.m. and a debrief at noon.
